To conduct research and analysis on industry, market, competitors, potential products/services and customer needs in order to support the development of EARTH’s business and investment opportunities and new products/services.

Education and Qualifications


  • Minimum master degree in business management or equivalent 

Preferred Qualification

  • Professional certification in marketing and/or business development 


  • Minimum 10 years of business development experience in public/private sector organization


Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct sector-wide primary and secondary studies on behalf of EARTH on industry, market, competitor analysis, potential products/services and customer needs
  • Develop survey instruments, sampling schemes and protocols for the generation of primary data to assess the impact of particular program/project on EARTH
  • Conduct research and analysis on business/investment opportunities for EARTH in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake the analysis and synthesis of data under the supervision of the Deputy VP- Business Development
  • Use research findings to develop quantitative and qualitative methods for assessing the potential for specific subsidiaries, programs and projects to create value for EARTH in attaining its strategic objectives
  • Ensure generation of reports and outputs through research findings and communicate the results
  • Supervise the marketing activities for day to day management of EARTH programs/projects in the development pipeline including and not limited to opportunity assessment, market evaluation, marketing research, financial evaluation and other marketing needs
  • Contribute in the planning and design of programs/ projects/ services/products across with all program/project managers within EARTH
  • Incorporate information from seminars, forums, discussions / debates on relevant subject matters so as to ensure alignment to leading best practices
  • Identify and recommend external sources and support in acquiring permanent or adhoc access to data bases of potential investors
