To manage the inventory of aircraft materials and equipment including and not limited to plan, organize and coordinate the incoming and outgoing of materials, perform record keeping and track updates; control and monitor inventory status; track daily inventory consumption and perform consumption analysis; store and maintain airworthiness documents/maintenance records etc. in order to ensure availability of material at all times based on the program/project requirements


Education and Qualifications


  • Minimum high diploma/diploma in material handling or equivalent  

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in material management or equivalent
  • Professional certification in English language course
  • Professional certification in computer course (MS office, project plan and inventory management system)


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in material handling in public/private sector organization

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, organize and coordinate with suppliers/vendors for all incoming materials, reconcile with delivery note, conduct visual inspection and report damages/discrepancies on the orders received
  • Record and update status of incoming and outgoing materials in inventory management system
  • Perform safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials
  • Control inventory and ensure material demands are issued to the concerned personnel
  • Monitor the status of inventory and highlight the shortage of materials
  • Issue materials on ‘first in receive first out deliver’ basis
  • Rotate stock and arrange for disposal of expired material as per the shelf life
  • Track the daily consumptions of warehouse. Perform consumption analysis on monthly/annual basis to support the material planning for new financial year or new program/project and/or short/long term material projection
  • Maintain the warehouse, records and store area in a neat and orderly manner
  • Store airworthiness documents (yellow card) and confidential files, maintains records of approved documents and ensure destruction of confidential file, as and when requested
  • Handle storage and transportation of hazardous materials
  • Comply with quality management system and procedures for all material management activities
  • Resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, stock and expired materials
  • Adhere to safety, health and environmental procedures
