OVERVIEW

Directly supervise all assigned tasks within Maintenance Operations. Assist in the development, implementation, amendment, and enforcement of all maintenance directives within the Maintenance Operations. Immediate supervision of all individual, crew-served, and vehicle mounted weapons inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure compliance with both the manufacturer’s technical manuals and the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Assist in the development and implementation of quality directives as part of the ISO 9001:2008 program.

Education and Qualifications

  • BS degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • 5-7 years’ supervisory experience managing and performing individual, crew-served, and vehicle mounted weapons inspections, servicing, and repairs is desired.

Key Accountabilities

  • Direct supervision of all assigned mechanics/technicians within the Maintenance Operations.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, amendment, and enforcement of all maintenance directives within the Maintenance Operations.
  • Immediate supervision of all individual, crew-served, and vehicle mounted weapons inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure compliance with both the manufacturer’s technical manuals, and the KPIs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality directives as part of the ISO 9001:2008 program.
  • Ensure all individual, crew-served, and vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs are received, stored, inventoried, and issued in accordance with all applicable directives.
  • Supervise all individual, crew-served, and vehicle inspections, servicing, and repair spare parts research to ensure that only the required spare parts are requisitioned in the appropriate quantities.
  • Ensure all individual, crew-served, and vehicle inspections, servicing, and repair maintenance actions are documented and given daily to the Production Control Department for entry into the CMMS database.
  • Comply with all security, safety, and environmental directives.
  • Ensure all special tools, test equipment, and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried, and constantly safeguarded.
  • Ensure that a final inspection is performed on all completed servicing, rebuilds, and repairs, to ensure a quality is delivered to the customer.
  • Ensure all residual spare parts are returned to the main store 2710.
  • Ensure all unserviceable “direct exchange” components are returned to the repairable store 2711.
  • Monitor job performance and ensure staff are trained to accomplish all required tasks.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Manager, MRO.                                                                                                                                                                   Learn, understand, and comply with applicable ALTAIF-GMC safety and environmental directives. Participate in the development of a safe and healthy working environment.
