OVERVIEW

The Senior Associate Marketing is responsible for producing marketing tools and resources for the EDGE group, preparing campaigns and brand products to promote EDGE across the defence industry. The role is responsible for tracking the marketing initiatives and reporting to the Director Marketing on their progress and success.

Education and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field

 

Qualifications and experience

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a B2B marketing or communications role, including experience in digital marketing, preferably with knowledge of media analytics
  • Experience in UAE/MENA markets is highly recommended
  • Knowledge of procurement and communications in a defence context highly desired

Key Accountabilities

Strategic:

  • Assist the Director Marketing in developing and delivering marketing campaigns and strategies for EDGE as a group
  • Develop, design and distribute organisational marketing products
  • Execute developed strategies to market and promote EDGE products and services
  • Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness
  • Arrange for EDGE’s participation, presence, sponsorship and activities in international defence exhibitions
  • Gather customer feedback to inform BD and product teams
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Protect and enhance the organisation’s brand through developing brand use guidelines for clusters and entities and monitor use

 

Operational:

  • Develop and prepare marketing materials and tools for EDGE, clusters and entities under the direction of the Director Marketing
  • Provide creativity and flair to development of marketing activities
  • Prepare content, in adherence to branding of the group, across the digital channels of EDGE
  • Produce and disseminate all marketing material across all departments in line with the established house style and branding guidelines
  • Track ROIs for marketing campaigns and prepare reports for Director Marketing to review
  • Manage organizational and specific partner websites as required

  • Maintain relationships with key personnel in branding and marketing agencies and in strategic marketing positions such as organizers or high-profile defence exhibitions
  • Work with consultants as required
