To manage end to end EARTH security functions, including physical security and information security in order to ensure safety of employees, facilities, and assets

Education and Qualifications


  • Minimum master in business management or equivalent  

Preferred Qualification

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)


  • Minimum 12 years of security management experience in public/private sector organization

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum experience of 3 years on managerial or similar position in public/private sector defence engineering organization 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement security management strategy
  • Develop and implement emergency exit management and contingency planning
  • Develop and monitor security management policies & procedures, programs etc. to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives
  • Ensure compliance with the standard EARTH password accountabilities set in the security policy & secure the execution of the specified passwords accountabilities in the “Password Accountabilities standards” in the IT operations manual
  • Manage network security control systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, wireless networks, virtual private networks, and network/domain account access and generate review reports
  • Manage change requests to the systems operations, applications and network including infrastructure devices and security devices
  • Manage and configure physical security, disaster recovery and data backup systems
  • Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment
  • Manage governmental security reviews, internal & external audits of the overall effectiveness of facility, personnel and information security processes
  • Manage the identification of potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; review the recommended corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Analyse and evaluate security operations at regular intervals to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through auditing, reviews and assessments
  • Communicate security status, updates and actual or potential problems using established protocols to VP- Business Development
  • Deliver training on security management to all employees within EARTH 
  • Finalize security-related documents, such as incident reports, status reports proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives
