Azerbaijan’s strategic position at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Caspian region makes it an important hub for defence, security and military cooperation. The Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX) provides a key platform connecting international defence industries with regional decisionmakers, highlighting emerging technologies, capabilities and partnerships while strengthening Azerbaijan’s role in the wider Caucasus security landscape.
More than a systems manufacturer
EDGE was built from the outset of a global ambition to deliver integrated, mission ready and interoperable defence solutions that address operational needs of armed forces. Rather than operating as a traditional manufacturer, EDGE brings together platforms, sensors, effectors, communications and command-and-control capabilities into connected, interoperable systems.
Gateway to unlocking potential
Strategically, Azerbaijan offers EDGE more than a defence market, it provides a gateway of opportunities into the Caucasus, Caspian region and Central Asia, while strengthening the UAE’s broader strategic relationship with Azerbaijan.
Meeting the demands of the modern battlefield
Forces increasingly rely on integrated networks where sensors, command-and-control systems, and effectors from different platforms must communicate seamlessly in real time. This interoperability across multi-domains enables faster decision-making, shared situational awareness, and a coordinated response to complex threats. At ADEX, EDGE will highlight these field-proven systems that address the demands spanning electronic warfare, precision strike, AI sensors, and autonomous systems.
Long range, modular solution
EDGE’s highly modular family of AL TARIQ all-weather, day or night, mission-proven long-range precision guided munitions (PGMs) are designed to address operational needs for high accuracy, long stand-off range engagements against stationary, moving and relocatable targets in a GPS denied environment with enhanced targeting accuracy by utilising dual mode seekers.

AL TARIQ LR PGM enhances pilot safety while allowing high levels of operational flexibility.
Jet-powered precision strike
As threats grow more sophisticated, jet-powered rapid strike loitering munitions have become a cornerstone of modern engagement, delivering precision strikes against fixed targets. EDGE’s SHADOW 25 loitering unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system provides defence forces with advanced guidance capabilities and onboard video navigation, with a cruising speed of 400 km/hour creating opportunities to swiftly neutralise stationary targets with a powerful 25 kg payload, even those located up to 250 km away.
SHADOW 50 is its powerful, long-endurance counterpart, a loitering munition that delivers precision strike capabilities with advanced guidance and rapid delivery of large payloads up to 50 kg, with mission flexibility and longer endurance.

Soft-kill integrated C-UAS systems
The C-UAS challenge is no longer simply whether a drone can be defeated, but whether it can be defeated at a cost that makes sustained defence viable. EDGE built its integrated defensive ecosystem on the foundations of modern C-UAS doctrine, with BORDERSHIELD as its flagship C-UAS platform. It is an AI-powered autonomous system built for persistent awareness that provides a tactical edge of early detection and identification.

SKYSHIELD QD sits at the centre of EDGE’s C-UAS engagement later and closes the gap between identifying a threat and neutralising it. It is the vehicle-mounted variant of SKYSHIELD with a mast that raises the full sensor and effector suite above the roofline, providing a 360-degree field. The system can jam drone frequencies and spoof GNSS signals, providing a comprehensive defence against drone threats

Partnerships proving EDGE’s authority in defence systems
EDGE’s capability is already being delivered through partnership. In May 2026, EDGE and Baykar, an international leader in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artificial intelligence technology, signed two agreements, offering Baykar’s UAV customers a broader portfolio of advanced smart weapons from EDGE. Baykar will provide support services to EDGE to integrate and demonstrate the advanced capabilities of the mission-proven and highly modular AL TARIQ line of long-range PGMs on the multirole high-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) Bayraktar AKINCI unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV).
The second agreement establishes a commercial framework under which both parties will be authorised to market and offer products from each other’s range and further opens door for broader opportunities across both companies’ wider product offerings.
Both agreements demonstrate strategic collaboration, enhancing the capabilities of EDGE’s platforms while further strengthening global partnerships and leading position in the defence industry.
