BROADCAPABILITIES TO COMMAND SEA AND AIR.
The ADSB 92M Corvette is a state-of-the-art, multirole and low-profile vessel designed and equipped to perform a range of littoral missions. Capable of supporting both offensive and defensive naval, security and law enforcement operations, the 92M Corvette is fast, powerful and prepared for surface, air and electronic warfare roles.
The platform’s diverse mission capabilities are enhanced by stealth features and fittings that minimise RCS, IR and EO signatures, while IR suppression materials reduce hot spots. Ballistic protection is implemented in key areas. Extremely
seaworthy, the vessel is mission compatible up to sea state 5, can perform helicopter operations up to sea state 3 and has survivability up to sea state 9.
MULTI - DOMAIN PATROL
MULTI - DOMAIN PATROL
With a maximum speed of 28 knots, a complement of up to 120 people, UAV operations, and a state-of-the-art combat management system (CMS), the vessel is ready for action across three domains in the near-shore theatre.
The ship supports the full range of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, platforms and equipment, including drones and helicopters, enabled by a Level II Class 3 helicopter landing pad and hangar capable of handling aircraft up to 11 tonnes. This makes the vessel an ideal launching point, not only for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations, but other missions, including vertical replenishment (VERTREP) programmes.
MULTI-MISSION READINESS
The 92M Corvette is designed, constructed and equipped to perform a wide range of coastal missions:
- Coastal and offshore patrolling
- Coast guard application
- Law enforcement
- Special operations deployment against littoral and asymmetric attacks
- Electronic warfare countermeasures
- Deployment for anti-surface and anti-air warfare
COMBAT OPERATIONS
The vessel features a centralised command and control system for integrated operation across all weapons and weapon subsystems, all active and passive sensors, and NAV systems, as well as integrated communications to support the naval operation command team in operations, mission planning and postmission analysis.
COMBAT CAPABILITIES INCLUDE:
- 1x 76mm naval gun system (or 1x 57mm naval gun system)
- 1x 30mm naval gun systems
- 8x SSM missiles
- 8x VLS SAM missiles
- 1x CIWS (short range active missile defence) comprising 2x launchers
- 3D surveillance radar
- Fire control radar (FCR)
- Infra-red search and track (IRST)
- Electro-optical surveillance system
- Identification of friend and foe (IFF)
- Naval laser warning system (NLWS) for incoming missiles
- Target designation system (TDS)
ELECTRONIC WARFARE
- Electronic support measures (ESM) system
- Communication electronic support measures (CESM) system
- Chaff / decoy system (with dynamic or fixed launchers)
CRAFTED CONSTRUCTION
Built to Class 1 shock classification, the 92M Corvette features, hull structures are made from high tensile steel. The entire superstructure is built of welded marine-grade aluminium alloy and is connected to the steel hull by means of bimetal joints to prevent electrolytic corrosion.
Four diesel engines and waterjets provide propulsion to support missions for up to 18 days, with a top speed of 26+ knots and cruising speed of 14 knots.
