Al Tariq is a strap-on bomb kit system, used on the Mk-80 family of standard aircraft bombs. The weapon system provides the user with all-weather, day and night operational capabilities, utilizing GNSS guidance, and increased targeting accuracy through Semi-active laser (SAL) seeker, Imaging infrared (IIR) seeker, hybrid GPS/INS navigation, with accuracy (excluding Target Location Errors) of 10m CEP GPS/GNSS-INS only (C/A code). It fits Mk-80 family of standard NATO warheads, is modular with more than 20 configurations based on required missions, provides anti-jamming solutions, and has an integrated Height of Burst sensor.
