ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Just as AI is incorporated into consumer products such as phones and smart speakers, so too is it becoming an essential component of products and systems deployed by public safety, national security, and defence forces. From autonomous systems to logistics and maintenance, AI has become a powerful enabler.
The EDGE Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence pursues advanced research, development and deployment of AI capabilities across Group products and systems. It also fosters AI-based engineering and AI deployment in R&D.
The opaque nature of AI systems makes technology sovereignty crucial for the UAE Armed Forces, UAE security forces, and allied-nation customers. The AI CoE ensures this throughout the design, engineering, training, and development phases of AI algorithms and software.
