Rising geopolitical tensions, especially in the South China Sea, are driving regional states to strengthen their defence capabilities to deter coercion and assert their sovereignty. Armed forces must operate across vast and complex geographies, from vast coastlines and archipelagos to exclusive economic zones (EEZs) containing critical resources, while balancing precision, readiness, and cost efficiency.
At the Defence Service Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) 2026, EDGE will showcase integrated, multi-layered defence systems designed to enhance mission effectiveness across domains. These solutions bring together sensors, platforms, and command systems into unified operational architectures, enabling faster detection, coordinated responses, and decisive action in dynamic environments.
Across land, air, and maritime domains, EDGE will present a range of complementary capabilities, with MIRSAD-X, HT-100, and 160 ITEP among the featured systems within this integrated operational framework.
MIRSAD-X: Precision surveillance and targeting
MIRSAD-X is a gyro-stabilised, multispectral electro-optical imager designed for surveillance, tracking, and targeting in all-weather conditions. Combining high-resolution day, short-wave infrared (SWIR), and thermal imaging with laser designation, it enables accurate real-time detection and engagement in dynamic environments.

Engineered for stability in operational conditions, MIRSAD-X supports the tracking of vehicles, vessels, and other targets while operating in motion. It integrates seamlessly across land and naval platforms as part of wider command-and-control and sensor architectures, strengthening the sensor layer of operational awareness.
This persistent ground and naval sensing capability provides the basis for coordinated multi-domain operations.
HT-100: Persistent aerial ISR coverage
Complementing land-based sensing capabilities, the HT-100 unmanned helicopter extends intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) coverage across remote and maritime environments. Mission-proven and rapidly deployable, it delivers up to six hours of endurance, enabling sustained ISR operations.

Its industrial-grade turbine engine and dual intermeshing Flettner rotor system ensure reliable performance in demanding conditions. The platform’s modular architecture allows payloads to be configured for specific mission requirements, including coastal surveillance, exclusive economic zone (EEZ) monitoring, and countering threats such as illegal fishing, piracy and trafficking.
This sustained airborne presence enhances situational awareness over coastal approaches and bridges the transition between land-based sensing and maritime response operations.
160 ITEP: High-speed maritime response
Extending from airborne surveillance to the maritime domain, the 160 ITEP inshore tactical and engagement platform delivers the power and performance required for high-speed pursuit, rapid interception, and a wide range of coastal patrol missions.

Available in three distinct configurations, the platform is built on a common base for simplified logistics, maintenance and repair, and sustainment. Its modular design enables adaptation across mission profiles, including border patrol, maritime surveillance and law enforcement at sea.
Operating as part of a wider integrated framework, the 160 ITEP enables rapid response to threats identified through land and air surveillance layers, supporting faster decision cycles and more efficient deployment of maritime assets.
Together, these systems form a connected land-air-maritime operational architecture. By integrating persistent sensing, airborne ISR, and high-speed maritime response capabilities, EDGE enables enhanced situational awareness, faster threat identification, and coordinated action across domains.
