Smart weapons
Today’s battlespace demands smart weapons that are smaller, smarter, and faster, delivering precision effects with maximum efficiency. EDGE’s precision-guided munitions (PGMs) are engineered to increase flexibility, accuracy, and safety across all mission profiles.
Our combat-proven kits convert unguided aerial weapons into high-precision, long-range munitions against targets up to 120 km away. Utilising Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) with Inertial Navigation System (INS), semi-active laser (SAL), and imaging infrared (IIR) with automated target recognition (ATR) capabilities, these munitions offer exceptional accuracy for the dynamic fighter.
Complemented by a wider portfolio of surface-to-surface, surface-to-air, air-to-surface, and loitering munitions systems, EDGE’s PGMs offer commanders scalable, precision-enabled effects across all operational scenarios.
Alongside PGMs, EDGE’s extended-range loitering munitions leverage AI to enable networked missions, providing a rapidly deployable precision strike. They offer ground forces a cost-effective, precision indirect-fire option that fills the persistence gap between artillery and manned strike assets. SKYKNIGHT is purposely designed to counter the full spectrum of modern aerial threats, providing early warning and precise surface-to-air intercept capabilities against rotary-wing aircraft, UAV rockets, artillery, mortars, and other fixed-wing aircraft at a range of up to 10 km.

Space capabilities

At the heart of this is SIRB, the UAE’s pioneering sovereign synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite programme, led by the UAE Space Agency. SIRB will provide ultra-high-resolution imaging in all weather conditions, both day and night. It will support a range of scientific, civil, and commercial missions, including maritime surveillance, environmental monitoring, and search and rescue, providing actionable intelligence to see clearer and respond faster.
